Choosing the best learning environment for your child is one of the most meaningful decisions you'll make as a parent or carer. At The Assumption, we’re passionate about providing an exceptional education, offering dynamic learning experiences that empower every student to reach their full potential—both during their school years and beyond.
We’re excited to welcome you to our warm, inclusive, and energetic Assumption community, where students thrive, and families feel at home!
Enrolment Criteria
We warmly welcome all families and children, whether Catholic or non-Catholic, to our school community! We ask that parents and carers embrace our Catholic faith’s values and philosophy, as children will participate in Religious Education classes and take part in meaningful activities like class prayers and school Masses. Join us as we grow together in a spirit of faith, learning, and community!
When spaces are limited, enrolment at Catholic schools within the Diocese adheres to the enrolment priority order, as outlined in our Enrolment Policy.
Enrolment Process
Please note that Kindergarten applications from Preschool aged children should be submitted to our school before the end of Term 1 in the year prior to enrolment.
Applications for current Kindergarten to 6 are accepted year-round.
Applications will only be considered when all relevant forms and documentation has been supplied. Please refer to the checklist on page 9 of the Enrolment Application Form for full requirements.
Our Application Form can be downloaded using the link below or call into our office to collect a hard copy.
School Tours and Kindergarten Orientation Program
Individual school tours for prospective families are available year-round. These tours offer an opportunity to discuss how our teaching and learning ethos and environment will benefit your child. It’s also an opportunity to meet our teachers and experience our classrooms and facilities first-hand. Contact our office to organise a tour today.
Our comprehensive Kindergarten Orientation Program runs in Term 4, thoughtfully designed to ease your child’s transition into school life. Through this program, children can explore their new environment, meet future teachers, and start building friendships with classmates—all essential steps for a confident start to school. Parents and carers will receive detailed information and dates for the orientation once the Kindergarten application is successfully processed.
