Melbourne Cup for Missions Mufti Day: Tuesday 4 November
This year the Assumption School students are encouraged to dress up in their race day clothes for the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday 4th November and bring in their goodwill, thoughts, prayers and coin/s donation that they will put on a trophy trail drawn in each house colour, to raise money for Catholic Missions.
So, come in your race day finery or as a jockey or as a trainer or even as a horse and bring your coins to help raise awareness of people who are not as fortunate as us.

World Mission Month – October

Last Sunday, 19th October, was claimed as World Mission Sunday. This year, World Mission theme is ‘Missionaries of Hope Among all People’. This theme was inspired by Pope Francis' message and aligns with the 2025 Jubilee Year, which has the theme "Pilgrims of Hope" and highlights the importance of hope, unity, and turning faith into action through out the world. Through fundraising, prayer and advocacy we can be a part of the life-changing work of the Church.
